To use Victorious Fate to unlock the Trialmaster battle in Path of Exile 2, players must first collect all three special Fate items: Victorious Fate, Deadly Fate, and Cowardly Fate. These Fates are earned by completing the final boss fight at the 10th wave of the Trial of Chaos event. Each time you complete this event, you receive one random Fate; therefore, multiple runs may be required to acquire all three.
Once you have all three Fates, head to the door located in the final room of the Trial of Chaos area. This door is locked and requires these three unique items as keys. Interact with the door interface and place Victorious Fate, Deadly Fate, and Cowardly Fate into their respective slots. Once inserted, the door will unlock, granting access to the Trialmaster’s Tower where the Trialmaster boss awaits.
The Trialmaster is a challenging, multi-phase boss designed to test your build and skill, making the acquisition and use of these Fates a crucial gating mechanism to this endgame content. Only by successfully collecting and placing these three Fates can you access and face this boss.
It’s important to note that you get only a single opportunity per unlock to fight the Trialmaster. If you die or fail the fight, you must collect the three Fates again by repeating the Trial of Chaos event.
Victorious Fate is one-third of the trio of special keys needed to unlock the Trialmaster fight. Gather it through repeated successful completions of the Trial of Chaos event, place it in the Trialmaster door alongside the other two Fates, and brace yourself for one of the toughest challenges PoE 2 offers.
